PMS Title 1 Family Engagement Plan

Pontotoc Middle School

Title 1 Family Engagement Plan

What is Family Engagement?

Pontotoc Middle School believes that the involvement of family and members of the community is critical for student achievement. It is our goal to increase active participation and communication between family members and the school. As a Title 1 school, Pontotoc Middle School is able to offer various family engagement opportunities throughout the school year. These events allow families and educators to work together toward student success.

Our goals for Family Engagement at Pontotoc Middle School were developed through collaborative discussion with Pontotoc teachers and parents. The plan will be posted on the school’s website and Facebook page. Teachers will distribute copies of the plan electronically using School Status. In addition, paper copies will be available upon request.
