Discovering Symmetry in Nature

(8/30): AGRICULTURE: EPISODE 3: STINK BUGS? NO! STICK BUGS: Mrs. Whitworth and Ms. Swain's 6th grade AG classes learned about symmetry through nature Monday of this week. They learned what objects in nature are symmetrical such as leaves, butterflies, flies, beetles, and other insects. They then used different items from nature to create a symmetrical stick bug. Students enjoyed searching for their items and trying to be the most unique! Students then created an adventure story with their stick bug as the main character. They were so good and FUNNY!
