"Unequal Resources" Challenge

(3/28): Students in 5th grade UFO classes participated in the "Unequal Resources" challenge. In this challenge student group "countries" were given limited resources and had to find a way to barter and trade with other student group "countries" to obtain the resources their "country" would need to survive. This gave students first hand experience with the problems that can come along with unequal distribution of natural resources. Students had to overcome conflicts, create trade agreements and form alliances. It was a wonderful learning experience.
