Towering Into Newton’s First Law with Ms.Swain!

(8/28): Our sixth-grade science classes had a towering good time exploring inertia and Newton’s First Law of Motion! Students put their science skills to the test by building inertia towers and experimenting with what happens when objects at rest are suddenly disturbed.
This hands-on activity gave students the chance to see inertia in action instead of just reading about it. There were plenty of laughs, a few spectacular tower tumbles, and lots of excited reactions when the experiment worked just right!
Activities like this help turn big science concepts into experiences students can actually see, test, and remember. We’re learning that science is a lot more fun when we get to put it into motion!
