PMS Library Displays Banned Books

(10/5): Banned Books Week is October 4–10, a time to recognize the importance of the freedom to read. Books are challenged or removed from schools and libraries for many different reasons, including their topics, language, or perspectives. Books featuring diverse voices and experiences continue to be challenged across the country. Banned Books Week reminds us that reading allows us to explore new ideas, understand different perspectives, and discover stories that help us learn about the world around us.
