Marsha Hillhouse, Middle School Principal
Our school consists of more than 350 fifth and sixth grade students. Together with dedicated teachers and staff, students are working toward excellence in academics and citizenship. At PMS, we recognize the importance of family and community involvement. It is our desire to promote school and parent collaboration as well as student achievement.
I have spent the majority of my years as an educator in the Pontotoc City Schools District. I have enjoyed my years as both a general and special education teacher, and I have cherished memories from my coaching years. While I have worked with students in elementary through high school grades, my most treasured years as a teacher are probably my teaching years at Pontotoc Middle School. It is a privilege for me to now serve as an administrator with this age group. The students are inquisitive, creative, and just plain fun. Each student is unique and brings a new perspective to our learning environment. I am looking forward to watching these students grow academically and mature socially throughout the current school year.
