(10/15): These PMS students were recognized for their positive characteristics this week at school. Congrats for being good citizens.

(10/25): PMS recently had the Term1 Awards assembly to recognize outstanding students who made honor roll, had perfect attendance, or was chosen as Student of the Month. Several students were awards certificates for these honors. Congrats students and we are proud of you!

(10/25): PMS teachers and students wore their Hello, Sunshine shirts in honor of Mrs. Nesbit, our secretary. Her ray of sunshine is missed at school when she is not here.

(10/24): Congratulations to the sixth grade students for scoring proficient on last year's Spring 2024 state test. As a reward, Mrs. Hillhouse treated them to a pancake breakfast this week.

(10/22): Mrs. Koon's PE students learned to play frisbee golf and how to keep score this week. Students enjoyed being outside to learn this new game.

(10/22): Some PE students enjoyed the games in the Warrior Room last week. The learned new ones and competed to see who could win at air hockey and foosball. The tallest LEGO tower was fun to build, but the crash brought lots of laughs.

(10/10): Get Ready for S'More Reading! Scholastic Book Fair will be at Pontotoc Middle School October 28 - November 1! Students can shop before school, during break, or with theirELA classes. You can set up eWallet now for your child to shop the book fair.

Family Night will be Tuesday, October 29 from 4-6. This will be in front of library and cafeteria. S'mores and hot chocolate will be available after shopping the book fair! Come out and enjoy s'more reading with us at PMS Book Fair!

(10/18): Yearbooks are on sale! The Big Chief is for students in grades 5-8. They are currently $40 but will go up to $45 after December 20. Forms are in the PMS office or can be purchased on www.yearbookforever.com

(10/18): Our 6th-grade ag students have taken on a wiggly new project—building a worm farm! They’re raising these tiny helpers to collect worm castings, perfect for boosting soil health come spring planting. These wiggly workers and their wiggly worms are sure to make a difference in the garden. Until the next episode...keep wiggling!
