(10/2): Students in Mr. Bramlett's sixth grade math classroom participated in a game of humans vs. zombies online to show their competitive spirit and show their knowledge on coordinate planes and quadrants.

(9/30): Our 6th grade scientists are diving deep into the Kingdoms of Life using their entire brain—literally! Through creative, interactive notebooks, students are exploring bacteria, prokaryotes, and more in a hands-on way. These personalized notebooks are packed with foldables, diagrams, and notes, helping students scaffold their learning while staying engaged.

From colorful sketches of microscopic life to fun facts about bacteria, our scientists are turning their notebooks into living documents of discovery! Learning about life is interactive—and fun!

(9/30): Our 6th graders will be busy designing bacterial cells—but with a twist! Using Tinkercad, they can create 3D models of these tiny organisms, bringing science to life in a totally new way. From flagella to cell walls, students used their tech skills to build these microscopic marvels. Who knew bacteria could be so cool? Stay tuned for more science fun!

(9/27): Our 6th grade agriculture class is bringing the heat—literally! Last year’s ag students planted jalapeño peppers, and this year’s crew took it up a notch by dehydrating and grinding them into seasoning powder. The grand total? One fiery seasoning bottle, ready to kick up some recipes all year long!

But that’s not all—they also dehydrated leftover cilantro from their pico de gallo project, yielding a whopping half bottle of cilantro seasoning. Watch out, cafeteria! These kids are turning up the flavor in a big way! 🌶️🌿

(9/26); Students in Mrs. Wilbanks's EL classes have been researching famous Hispanic Americans for Hispanic Heritage Month, which is September 15th- October 15th.

(9/26): PMS sixth grade students learned about the Constitution and the importance of our country's history this week. Mrs. Martha and Mrs. Nancy provided our students with valuable information about our Constitution.

(9/26): (Change of Date) PMS students in choir present "A Fall Showcase" on October 22 at 7 pm in the PJH Auditorium. There is no entry fee to this event.
