(5/12): After pruning all 15 rose bushes in front of the middle school, AG students turned into hopeful plant parents—using cuttings to try and grow brand-new bushes. Fingers crossed and thorns avoided!

(5/9): 6th grade AG students spent the day separating and repotting tomato seedlings and flowers for their upcoming plant sale—while loudly declaring it was way too hot. Despite the heat and a last-minute soil scramble, the plants (and the students) survived… barely.

(5/8): Congrats to these girls who made the Warrior powerlifting team.

(5/8): Congrats to these boys who made the PJH 7th grade basketball team.

(5/6): Awards Day for PMS students will be May 22 in the PJH Auditorium. Fifth graders will be recognized at 8:30 and sixth graders will be recognized at 9:30. Teachers will let parents know if their students are getting an award.

(5/5): While the campus was quiet for state testing, 6th grade Agriculture students put their indoor time to good use—by whipping up homemade gummy bears! Using honey, pectin, and grape juice, students mixed, poured, and (impatiently) waited for their fruity creations to set. It was a tasty way to explore natural ingredients… and yes, a few gummy bears mysteriously disappeared during "quality control."
