(10/10): These PMS students were recognized for their positive characteristics and behavior this week. Congrats, Warriors!

(10/10): Students and teachers enjoyed celebrating homecoming all week. From dress up days to attending the PJH pep rally, PMS cheered for the Warriors!

(10/9): PMS former sixth graders were served pancakes this week. This was their incentive of scoring proficiency (4s and 5s) on last spring's state tests. Several students accomplished this task and enjoyed the pancakes and toppings. Thank you students for working hard to accomplish this goal!

(10/8): PMS students, who did not have any office referrals, were rewarded today. They were allowed to attend the PJH Homecoming Pep Rally! The students enjoyed seeing the cheerleaders, band, football players, and the homecoming court. We are proud of your behavior this nine weeks.

(10/9): Students in Mrs. Richardson's fifth grade science class made ice cream. The students used their knowledge of physical and chemical changes to make ice cream. After creating a solution, we shook it frozen. The kids were excited!

(10/4): 6th grade ELA students illustrate important key details in the novel, House Arrest.

(10/4): Fifth grade ELA students created travel brochures as they took journeys to interesting places. They researched different reasons to visit their location, commonly asked questions about it, facts, landmarks, and climate of their chosen location.

(10/4): Congrats to these Warriors! These PMS students were recognized for demonstrating good characteristics this week at school.

(10/4): This week in Ms. Swain’s STEM Adventures, the students have been soaring to new heights—literally! Our budding scientists have been hard at work building, coding, and flying drones. From perfecting their hover skills to navigating obstacle courses, they’ve been taking control of the skies like true pilots-in-training. A few crash landings? Maybe… but that’s all part of the fun, right?
Alongside our high-flyers, other students dove deep into their STEM kits—building circuits, testing motors, and constructing gadgets that just might solve the world’s next big problem. From whirring gears to buzzing wires, the classroom is alive with invention and excitement.
Special shoutout to Ava and Eli, who successfully coded their drone to follow a flight path through the “Ring of Fire”(okay, it was just a glowing hula hoop, but still, very cool!).
Next week, we’ll tackle robotics and 3D printing—stay tuned for more STEM-tastic adventures!
