Kids Discover Online - This online periodical offers excellent online resources where elementary and middle-school children can learn about all kinds of science and social studies topics. This site includes much of the same material as the print magazine articles.

National Geographic Kids - The online magazine is full of  educational articles on dozens of countries around the world, animals, and planets, all with fun photos. (click MAGAZINE under Explore More at the top of website)
