(9/1): Congrats to these students who were recognized for demonstrating positive characteristics in the classrooms and hallways of PMS.

(8/31): Fifth and sixth grade ELA classes visited the library for orientation during August.

(8/30): Our school counselor, Mrs. Ritchie visited classrooms this week.
She shared information about the role of a school counselor, confidentiality, and upcoming events. Students also played an icebreaker game called “That’s Me” to get to know each other better. In addition, students had small group discussions about future topics they wanted to learn more about from the counselor.

(8/30): AGRICULTURE: EPISODE 3: STINK BUGS? NO! STICK BUGS: Mrs. Whitworth and Ms. Swain's 6th grade AG classes learned about symmetry through nature Monday of this week. They learned what objects in nature are symmetrical such as leaves, butterflies, flies, beetles, and other insects. They then used different items from nature to create a symmetrical stick bug. Students enjoyed searching for their items and trying to be the most unique! Students then created an adventure story with their stick bug as the main character. They were so good and FUNNY! Until the next episode...

(8/30): Mrs. Walker-Pereira's students are working on math order and operations. They are working on the new dry erase tables.

(8/30): Students in Mrs. Hitt's class determined where the electrical conductors work best - wood, glass, or metal? The classroom door was used for experimenting with all options.

(8/28): PE students are enjoying the new equipment that is in the gym. Students take turns doing workouts at stations. They cheer each other on as the accomplish each task.

(8/25): Congrats to these students who were recognized as positive praise Warriors in the classrooms and hallways of PMS.

(8/25): AGRICULTURE: EPISODE 2: OFF WITH THEIR HEADS! Mrs. Whitworth and Ms. Swain's AG classes de-headed the Knockout roses in front of the 5th and 6th grade building last week. We are already seeing new growth and many buds. Everyone is so very proud of these beautiful bushes. They were planted by 6th grade Ag 3 years ago after Mrs. Richardson and Mrs. Whitworth's AG classes gutted the flower bed. The students replanted the Butterfly Bushes, Gardenia Bushes, and the Japanese Maple tree from this flower bed in other places around the 5th and 6th grade campus. They are all still thriving! (8/25): Students loved getting their face painted this week to support the Warriors! PMS students hope the Warriors "Rock n Roll" tonight!
