(8/23): The 6th Grade Agriculture class rolled up their sleeves and got to work cleaning the chicken pen and coop this week! With plenty of teamwork and a few squeals, the students made sure the feathered residents are living in style. The chickens are now clucking with delight in their fresh and tidy home, thanks to our hardworking students!

(8/21): Mrs. Ritchie, our school counselor, visited fifth grade classrooms this week. She shared information about the role of a school counselor, confidentiality, and upcoming events. Students also played an icebreaker game with a motivational thumball by tossing and catching it, then students responded to the prompts relating to the topics. Small group discussions were also held about future topics to be implemented during counseling guidance lessons.

(8/21): PMS will house an open house for parents and guardians to walk the halls of a middle schooler on Thursday, August 29 starting at 5:30. Students will be given a copy of their schedule for parents/guardians to follow during open house. We hope to see you there!

(8/16): PMS PTO provided a barbeque lunch for teachers this week. The meal was delicious. We appreciate all that you do for us.

(8/16): Students in Mrs. Koon's health class enjoy getting to exercise while watching a video and discussing social health. Students were allowed to use the stepper and hand grippers.

(8/16): Mrs. Whitworth's 6th Grade Agriculture classes had one cockle-doodle-do time this week when they discovered their coop had too many roosters! With feathers flying and a lot of laughter, the students set to work catching the rowdy rascals. Haegan Huffstatler, Kyleigh Dillard, and Chase Bass showed off some serious chicken-wrangling skills, proving they might just have a future in rodeo! The roosters have now found new homes in the community, ready to be turned into some delicious fried chicken. Until the next episode....Keep Kickin' Chicken!

(8/12): Thanks to the PMS PTO for the Warrior shirts. We appreciate all that you do for us.

(8/12): PMS students in Mrs. Reeder's UFO class enjoyed GRIT (Games Really Increase Thinking) time on Monday. Students selected random thinking games and activities during class.

(8/7): We are so glad these new teachers joined our staff at PMS.

(8/7): PMS teachers and students have had a great start to the year! Thanks to PTO for providing breakfast and cookies during teacher PD days. Students are eagerly learning in classrooms.
