(5/1): PMS teachers and staff were treated to coffee and refreshers from The Caffeinated Raven this week. This treat was a great start to the testing season. Thank you, admin for the coffee!

(5/1): Pontotoc Middle School appreciates all that you do for us. We are blessed to have you as our principal. You are the best!

(4/30): PMS sixth grade boys can tryout for the PJH Warrior Basketball team on May 8-10, from 3:15 - 5:00 at the PJH Gym. Sign up sheets and forms will be in the PMS office. All students trying out will be required to turn in a physical. All questions can be referred to [email protected].

(4/29): Students in Mrs. Lori Johnson's 5th grade UFO classes participated in Shark Tank! 5th graders were challenged to create a product that would help students be more successful in school. These kid entrepreneurs then had to create a business plan including costs, profits, advertisement and a sales pitch to our guest "sharks." This was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn how problem solving, creativity, perseverance, math skills, science skills and reading skills can apply to a real world situation.

(4/26): PMS Fifth graders who scored a 5 on any spring benchmark were rewarded with an exempt day at school this week. They played games in the courtyard and tennis courts, kickball on football field, ate popcorn, and enjoyed a movie. Thanks for working hard on the last benchmark.

(4/26): The end of the year tests will be here soon. Students have worked hard all year to prepare for these. We appreciate your support in ensuring success of our students.

(4/26): PMS students were recognized for showing positive character traits this week at school. Thanks for being an awesome Warrior!!

(4/25): Happy Secretary's Day to the BEST! Thank you, Mrs. Nesbit, for keeping PMS going! We appreciate you more than you know!

(4/24): PMS students listened to ICC Football Coach Mason and a few players as they gave them motivation to keep going! He reminded them that academics came before athletics, so they need to focus on academics and school work. Try hard on the upcoming state tests!

(4/22): PMS Students who Scored 4/5 on Spring Benchmark Tests were rewarded with time in the Warrior Rooms. Fifth grade students were appreciative of the game time with friends and classmates.
