Middle School Garden-to-Table Demonstration
(8/13): Today, Chef Wyatt had the opportunity to spend time with the middle school students in their garden program. Using fresh produce they picked themselves, he gave a hands-on demonstration on proper knife skills, how to prepare fresh cilantro, how to make homemade salsa, and how to create vibrant salads using ingredients straight from the garden.
The students were engaged and excited to see how the vegetables they helped grow could be transformed into something delicious. The teacher also enjoyed participating, and it was a fun, educational experience for everyone.
